John E. Isaacson, 86, formerly of Lauderdale, died April 24.
A longtime employee of Interstate Companies, John made many friends throughout his career there. He loved to tinker in his garage and to build and repair things for friends and family. He enjoyed fishing at his lake home in Grantsburg, Wis., and spending the winter months in Sun City, Ariz.
John was preceded in death by his wife, Carol, and siblings, Louise, Bert, James and Lola. He is survived by daughter, Mindy (Dave) Quade; son, Jeff Isaacson; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
His funeral service was held May 9 at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Roseville. Interment will be at a later date.
